Remulla releases guidelines on MECQ

SILANG, Cavite – Cavite Gov. Juanito Victor ‘Jonvic’ Remulla jas issued new quarantine guidelines for Caviteños living in seven cities and 16 towns of the province.

On his social media post with titled” #MedyoECQ Episode 1 ‘Guidelines’, curfew under the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine has been reset from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Factories are allowed at 50% capacity.

Mall hours are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. while supermarkets and groceries remain on regular operating schedule to accommodate those buying essential goods.

Mall operations are the same as ECQ: Only Essential establishments are allowed.

Exercise is now allowed within the general vicinity. basketball and group activities are prohibited. Golf courses are remaining closed. Walking, jogging at biking within the area are allowed with social distancing & the usual health protocols.

Per Department of Transportation – Philippines there will be no changes in capacity & operations during MECQ. Only authorized person outside residents (APOR) are allowed to use of public transport.

Restaurants are restricted to take outs and deliveries only. Strictly no dine-in.

Drinking in public places is not allowed.

Continue to stay at home. Bawal pa din lumabas ang below 18 and above 65 as well as those with health risks except when obtaining essential goods & services. Majority of new infections are those 20-39 years old. Worse, when they come home hawa na ang mga kasama sa bahay. Often, it’s the senior citizen parents who end up losing their lives. Please do not be complacent: Continue to follow all World Health Organization (WHO) protocols to avoid infection in work places,” Remulla added.
