Road closures and traffic re-routing scheme will be implemented in certain areas in Manila next month, in connection with the holding of the 2024 Bar Examinations in San Beda University.
This was announced by Manila Public Information Office chief Atty. Princess Abante, who said that the road closures and rerouting scheme will be implemented from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m. on September 8, 11 and 15 in the Mendiola area near the said university.
Abante said hose that will be closed are Mendiola Street (both lanes from Peach Arch to Malacañang Gate) and Concepcion Aguila Street (both lanes from Mendiola to Jose Laurel Sts.).
Motorists are advised to look for alternative routes on said dates to avoid traffic.
In Metro Manila, other testing centers for the bar exams are University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Maynila; Manila Adventist College in Pasay City; University of the Philippines-Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City and San Beda College-Alabang in Muntinlupa City.
In Luzon, the same exams will also be held at the Saint Louis University and University of Nueva Caceres and University of San Jose-Recoletos, Central Philippine University and Dr. V. Orestes Romualdez Educational Foundation in Visayas.
In Mindanao, the bar exams will be held at the Xavier University and Ateneo de Davao University.
