Rob-drug suspect shot in head

A JOBLESS man with pending cases of robbery and illegal drugs was shot in the head by a still unidentified gunman Thursday afternoon in Caloocan city.

Jeffrey Sucgang, 30, of Phase 7A Package 10 Excess Lot Bgy. 176 Bagong Silang was rushed by his neighbor to the North Caloocan Medical Center where he is still fighting for his life due to a lone gunshot wound in the head.

In a report signed by Duty Staff Officer P/ Lt. Rolando Domingo, Sucgang was inside the house of his neighbor Ryan Villa at Phase 78 Package 6 Block 35 Lot 2 Bgy. Bagong Silang at around 1:30 p.m.,when two men suddenly barged inside, one of them armed with unknown caliber of firearm, and shot the victim in the head at close range.

Thinking that the victim was already dead, the suspects immediately fled on board their getaway motorcycle.

Responding elements of the Caloocan Police Sub-Station 13 immediately conducted a follow-up operation but they failed to identify and arrest the suspects.

Case investigator P/Cpl. Bryan Topinio said that based on records of the Caloocan Police Crime Information Reporting and Analysis System (CIRAS) the victim had previous cases of robbery and violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
