AROUND 300 families were rendered homeless after their houses were gutted by fire that hit a residential area at the corner of Dela Fuente and Amelia Streets in Sampaloc, Manila early morning on Wednesday.
It was learned from the Manila Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) that the fire struck at 12:32 a.m. on Wednesday and reached fourth alarm.
The fire reportedly began from a residential home located at No. 503 Amelia St., Brgy. 439 Zone 44, Sampaloc.. It was declared ‘fire out’ at 5:44 a.m.
No Fortunately, no one was reported hurt or killed in the fire whose cause and estimated damage to property is still being established by arson probers.
