Sekyu stabbed by 2 factory workers

A SECURITY guard was seriously wounded when two factory workers stabbed him repeatedly in the body following their heated altercation Friday before dawn in Navotas City.

Kevin Navarro, 28, of 290 Magat Salamat St., Bgy. Daanghari was rushed by his brother to the Navotas City Hospital where he was placed under observation after treatment of stab wounds in different parts of his body.

Navotas police chief P/Col. Rolando Balasabas said elements of the San Roque Police Sub-Station 2 led by P/EMSgt. Elizardo Oriendo immediately conducted a follow-up operation that resulted to the arrest of Wilmar Casipit, 22, of 497 Gov. A. Pascual St., Bgy. Daang Hari and Ricardo Eballar, 18, of Estrella St., Bgy. East Navotas.

Balasabas said that prior to the stabbing incident, the victim and the suspects were having a drinking session along Magat Salamat St. near the victim’s house.

At around 3:30 a.m., a heated argument ensued between the suspects and the victim. At the height of their altercation, Eballar and Casipit pulled out a bladed weapon and took turns in stabbing Navarro in the body.

The suspects fled, leaving the victim sprawled bloodied on the ground.
