‘Shabu’ found on man shot dead in front of QC house

POLICE recovered three sachets of suspected shabu near the body of a victim shot to death in front of his house in Quezon City on Saturday night.

A report from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Quezon City Police District said the lifeless body of Emerson Castro, 28, was found at 11:30 p.m. in front of his house on 357 Gen. Francisco Street, Barangay Bagong Silangan.

The victim’s grandmother, Josephine Casila, told the police she was inside their house when she was informed by a neighbor that the victim had been shot to death by a still unidentified suspect.

Casila soon saw the blood-soaked body of her grandson in front of their house.

Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered eight fired cartridge cases, and a brown coin purse containing three heat sealed plastic transparent sachets containing an undetermined quantity of suspected shabu.
