Sheryl denies pregnancy issue with Jeric

Sheryl Cruz

SHERYL Cruz just laughs off the rumor she’s pregnant, with her “Mag-agaw” co-star, Jeric Gonzales, as the dad. “That’s fake news!” she says. “I just returned from our lock-in taping of ‘Magkaagaw’ and my period came on the second week of the taping, so how can I be pregnant? And if the tsismis is true, wow, ang ganda o ang gwapo siguro ng magiging anak namin. Jeric and I are just good friends because of ‘Magkaagaw’. If ever, magkaka-boyfriend uli ako and would get pregnant, I would not hide it at all from the public.”

Sheryl has been officially divorced from ex-husband Norman Bustos, a law enforcer in San Francisco, by whom she has a daughter, Ashley Nicole, who’s now a teenager. Rumors linking her to Jeric started because of the very hot love scenes and kissing scenes they do frequently in “Magkaagaw”, where they play illicit lovers as Jeric is married to Klea Pineda in the story.

Sheryl says she invited Jeric to be a guest in her Youtube channel called “That’s Sheryltainment” so they can clear up all the false rumors about them. “Magkaagaw” is returning to GMA’s Afternoon Prime with the conflict between Sheryl as Veron and Sunshine Dizon as Laura, the mom of Klea as Clarisse, getting more intense after Sunshine discovered that Sheryl and Jeric as Jio are having an affair.

TV5 Christmaserye continues with new title

Paano ang Pangako
Paano ang Pangako?

TV5’S Christmaserye, “Paano ang Pasko”, is so successful that it is now extended, but with a new title “Paano ang Pangako?” Produced by the IdeaFirst Company and Cignal Entertainment, “Paano ang Pangako?” is the acclaimed family holiday drama series that has gripped audiences and left them wanting for more.

“Paano Ang Pangako Book 2” will be aired weeknights starting this Monday, January 4 at 9:00 PM on TV5. The secrets and scandals in the Aguinaldo family, led by matriarch Faith (Maricel Laxa), get more intriguingly complicated as a new family threatens to mess up their lives. The arrival of the Dominante-Cruz family helmed by its own matriarch, Elvira (Bing Loyzaga), takes an interesting twist as she vows to strip the Aguinaldos of everything in their lives: wealth, honor and heir.

Elijah Canlas, dubbed by CNN as 2020 Actor of the Year for his consecutive Gawad Urian and 68th FAMAS best actor awards, plays Noel, the heir, a young man torn between his loyalty to the family he grew up with and the family he now wants to belong to.

With Noel at the center of the warring families, Faith’s daughters Love (Julia Clarete), Hope (Beauty Gonzalez) and Joy (Devon Seron) take on full battle gear to protect him against the Dominante-Cruz clan, portrayed by formidable new additions to the cast that include Karel Marquez, Miles Ocampo, Kyle Velino, and Ahron Villena.

The other characters like Ricky Davao and Allan Paule reprise their roles together with Ejay Falcon, John Sweet Lapus, Matt Evans, Danita Paner, Cedrick Juan, Ace Ismael, and Justine Buenaflor in the new season. Book 2 will be based on a winning story by Palanca Hall of Famer Jun Robles Lana and will be helmed by the country’s top directors Ricky Davao, Eric Quizon, and Perci Intalan, who joined forces in directing the hit first season.

“Paano Ang Pangako” has a catch-up telecast that premieres on One Screen via Cignal TV Channel 09 starting January 5, 2021 (Tuesday) at 6:30 PM. Viewers can access both TV5 and One Screen via the Cignal Play app. Download for FREE for Android and iOS users.
