PLDT wireless unit Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) is expanding its GigaLife App to further drive data adoption by offering an enriched mobile data experience to its customers.
The GigaLife App, which gives Smart Prepaid, Smart Postpaid, TNT, Smart Bro, and PLDT Prepaid Home WiFi subscribers a simple and easy way to manage their digital activities, now has more than 5 million monthly active users as of the first quarter of the year. The GigaLife App is available on the Google Play Store, the Apple App Store, and on Huawei Mobile Services.

Aside from its features that offer users a view of their balance, account details and billing statements, the GigaLife App also allows customers to easily avail themselves of data promos, such as DOUBLE GIGA, which offers twice the data for their daily passions and guarantees to always have data available EVERY DAY for their passions.
For example, DOUBLE GIGA VIDEO 99 now comes with 2 GB per day for streaming on YouTube, Cignal Play, iWantTFC, and NBA League Pass – plus 2 GB open access data for Php99 valid for 7 days.
Subscribers can also avail of DOUBLE GIGA STORIES for more sharing on social media; DOUBLE GIGA STUDY and DOUBLE GIGA WORK for more online productivity; and DOUBLE GIGA GAMES to enjoy more of today’s top mobile games.
The country’s first unlimited offer on 5G called Unli 5G Data, and other innovative data products such as All Data (shareable data for all sites) and Magic Data (non-expiring data for all sites) are also available on the GigaLife App.
The GigaLife App also enables Smart’s GigaPoints rewards program, which offers a simpler and easier way for everyone to earn, accumulate, and redeem exclusive treats.

Powering the GigaLife App is Smart’s fastest mobile network, as recognized by third-party analytics firm such as Ookla and Opensignal.
Ookla, the global leader in internet testing and analysis, has named Smart as the country’s fastest mobile data network for three years in a row now, as well as recognized Smart for having the fastest 5G network in the Philippines, consistently posting the fastest 5G speeds for Q1 2021.
Smart has also scored a rare sweep in the April 2021 Philippines Mobile Network Experience Awards by independent analytics firm Opensignal*, beating the competition across all metrics in three essential aspects of service: Coverage (4G Coverage Experience, 4G Availability), Speed (Download and Upload Speed) and Experience (Games, Video and Voice app).
