Dragons in twin kill

DILIMAN  Preparatory  School completed a twin kill  by blasting Jaguars, 108-82, in the 19 years old and under category and Bloomfield,  85-69, in the 17-under class in the Youth   Basketball  Cup (YBC) tournament at the  DPS covered courts in Diliman, Quezon  City.

Aedrell Balacaoc and  James Ngo  shared  Gerry’s Grill   “Best Players  of  the  Game” honors  as  they  led the way  in  the Blue Dragons’ convincing victory over the  Jaguars.

Balacaoc  finished  with  32  points, eight   rebounds,  three blocks, two assists and  two steals, while Ngo added 14 points, three rebounds and  three asissts.

Last Nov. 24, DPS rode on  Raven  Bajar’s  20 points,  four rebounds, four assists and  four steals  to  power DPS  to  victory over Bloomfield  in  the 17-under category.

Bajar was voted  Gerry’s Grill “Best Player of the Game.”

In the 13-under  category,  Jon  Macayan  came through with       25  points,  five  rebounds, three assists  and  three steals to lead SPCC to 121-63 win over RBBC.

The  weekend-only tournament is  organized by YBC founding president Rensy Bajar and supported by Diliman College, led  by Sen. Nikki Coseteng,  Gerry’s Grill  thru Jerome Ngo  and Wilson  Sia; and Rebel  Sports thru Joel and Grace Cu.
