THIRDY Ravena shot 24 points as Cignal-Ateneo fashioned out a 102-88 win over Che’Lu Bar and Grill in a testy encounter to clinch one of the twice-to-beat slots in the PBA D-League playoffs yesterday at the JCSGO Gym.

Rey Suerte had put the Revellers to within 74-78 early in the payoff period when the Blue Eagles unloaded a telling 15-3 run capped by a Ravena fadeaway jumper to build a 93-77 cushion with 3:36 remaining.

Cignal-Ateneo ended its elimination round stint in the Aspirants’
Group with an 8-1 slate.

Earlier, Ironcon-University of Santo Tomas clobbered lowly McDavid, 111-90, to raise its record at 5-1 in second place at the Aspirants’ Group.
