FRANKY Johnson went hot down the stretch as AMA Online Education outlasted Batangas-EAC, 122-119, in two overtimes to rediscover its winning ways yesterday in the PBA D-League at the JCSGO Gym.

With Joshua Munzon losing steam, Johnson converted a go-ahead lay-up and nailed two free throws off Earvin Mendoza’s fifth foul to give the Titans the needed separation at 120-117, with 9.8 seconds left.

“I told him to take charge, get that ball and go hard kasi si Munzon hindi na maganda inilalaro,” said AMA coach Mark Herrera.
