Busy TOPS sked

IT will be a very busy Thursday (Nov. 29) as the second edition of TOPS "Usapang Sports" at the National Press Club tackles the hottest issues on cricket, cycling, table tennis and wrestling.

Heading the list of guests are Philippine Cricket Association General Manager Faisal Khan and Philippine team captain Jonathan Hill, who will discuss the World Cup qualifier hosting on Dec.1-7; Go-For-Gold  godfather Jeremy Go and coach Ednalyn Hualda, who will talk about cycling; Philippine Table Tennis Federation president Ting Ledesma; and Wrestling Association of the Philippines president Alvin Aguilar.

The weekly session begins 10 a.m.

TOPS president Ed Andaya of  People's Tonight is asking  all officers and members to come and participate in the session supported by the National Press Club (NPC).

The other TOPS officers  are Dennis Eroa   of  PDI/Bandera  and Beth  Repizo of Pilipino Ngayon , vice presidents; Edwin Villanueva of  Balita, secretary; and  Nympha Miano-Ang of Bulgar, treasurer.

Last Nov. 22,  Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman William “Butch” Ramirez and Games and Amusement Board (GAB) Chairman Abraham “Baham”  Mitra graced  the inaugural edition of TOPS “Usapang Sports.”
