WHAT’S up with the Philippine team in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam this November?
What are the chances of the Filipino athletes in defending the overall championship in hostile territory? How will the coronavirus pandemic affect the athletes’ preparations?
Newly-appointed SEA Games Chef de Mission and Commissioner Ramon Fernandez of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) will take the time to answer these questions during the “Usapang Sports on Air” by the Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) via Zoom this Thursday.
This is the second time that Fernandez will be gracing the weekly public service program since the new normal in sports.
Also appearing in the 10 a.m. session are Jeremy Go and Ronnel Hualda of Go for Gold and Winston Arpon of Philippine Tournament Bridge Association.
TOPS president Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight is inviting all officers and members, and friends in the sports community, to join the weekly session sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and Games and Amusements Board (GAB).
TOPS is composed of editors, columnists, reporters and photographers of the country’s leading national tabloids and blogger-friends from different social media groups.
Veteran sportscaster Ernest Leo Hernandez and shoutcaster Phaister are the TOPS moderators.
