THE Women’s Baseball World Cup in Tijuana, Mexico in March and the 30th Winter Universiade in Lucerne, Switzerland in December will be the main topics in Thursday’s “Usapang Sports on Air” by the Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) via Zoom.
Philippine Amateur Baseball Association (PABA) president Chito Loyzaga will talk about the Philippine team’s chances in the Women’s World Cup scheduled March 1-9 in Tijuana.
The Philippine under-23 team is hoping to figure well in the prestigious event and improve its world ranking of No. 15.
Federation of School Sports Associations of the Philippines (FESSAP) executive vice president Robert Calo will talk about the country’s participation in the Winter Universiade in Lucerne on Dec. 11-21.
Figure skating champion Misha Fabian, who represented the country in the Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk, Russia two years ago, and her coach Ronan Capili will also join the forum.
This is the third session for TOPS this year.

TOPS president Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight is inviting all officers and members, and friends in the sports community, to join the weekly session sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and Games and Amusements Board (GAB).
