Trader robbed of P.5M cps

SAN JOSE CITY – A businesswoman was robbed of about P.5 million worth of assorted cell phone merchandise by suspected “Akyat-Bahay” gang members here on Sunday.

Police said lady trader Joan Marie Elvambuena, 25, of Bgy. San Isidro, Lupao sought police help after learning that her mobile phone store, King Dave and Joanne Iphone Shop and Accessories located along Del Pilar Ext. in Bgy. F.E. Marcos, was burglarized by unidentified suspects at 11:30 a.m.

The victim told police that the suspects destroyed the roll-up door of the shop to gain entry inside.

Police Lt. Col. Heryl Bruno, city police head, said at least 51 pieces of assorted models of Iphone mobile phone units worth P452,000 were missing and believed stolen by the suspects.

He said follow-up investigation is currently being undertaken for possible identification and arrest of the suspects.
