Stench leads to man dead for 2 days

STENCH led to the body of a 55-year-old softdrinks delivery man inside his rented room in Malate, Manila.

PEMS Bernardo Cayabyab of the Manila Police District-homicide section identified the victim as Ronnie Novia, of 2274 Int. 4, Leveriza St., Malate, Manila.

Cayabyab said the victim had been dead for two days and was last seen alive at around 7 a.m. of January 6.

At around 8 a.m. yesterday, the barangay reportedly received a complaint about stench coming from the victim’s room. When opened, the body was found inside.

Police said the victim may have suffered an attack as no wounds or injuries were found on the remains.
