A 45-year-old man was nabbed in connection with the charges of rape and sexual assault filed by his two stepdaughters in Manila last year.
A team under PCol. John Guiagui, chief of the Manila Police District – District Intelligence Division (MPD-DID), served the second arrest warrant against suspect Ardie Bachona of No. 840, Bucaneg St., Brgy. 54, Dagupan, Tondo, Manila inside the Custodial Facility of the CIDG, Northern Police District (NPD), where the supsect was first arrested relative to the statutory rape filed against him by the family of his 10 year-old stepdaughter.
Apart from raping the said girl, the suspect also allegedly molested her 14-year-old sister twice.
The suspect, Guiagui said, is ‘top 7 most wanted’ in MPD-Police Station 1 and ‘top 8 Most Wanted’ in the District level.
The arrest warrant against the suspect was issued by Branch 6 of the Family Court in Manila.
No bail was recommended for the provisional liberty of the suspect in connection with his rape case but the court set his bail for the two sexual attack cases to 80,000 per count.
