Teen drowns in Naic river

TANZA, Cavite — While Cavite province and the NVR Plus Bubble are in MECQ status, which strongly discourages people from leaving their homes if not Authorized Person outside Residents (APOR) to avoid possible COVID infection in this pandemic.

The body of a nineteen-year-old male who was believed to have drowned was recovered by Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) divers from Santol River Sunday evening in Barangay Santol here.

Leautenant Micheal Encina, PCG-Cavite commander identified the victim as Regie Oriada, 19, of Barangay Santol.

Initial investigation said the said victim was swimming with his friends in the river when he was believed to have drowned.
