The meeting tackled the possibility of having a satellite training center within the Freeport area in line with the various memoranda of agreement between TESDA and SBMA for the past years. This is to broaden the scope of TESDA training programs and activities to be offered near Olongapo City and the southern part of Zambales.

PD Romero briefly discussed TESDA Circular No. 062, series of 2020 on the Guidelines in Implementing Flexible Learning in TVET and TESDA Circular No. 078, series of 2020 on the Amended/Supplemental Guidelines on TESDA Scholarship Programs under the “New Normal” in line with the said training.

Several other propositions were raised such as TESDA will provide the training tools and equipment to be used by the trainers and trainees while SBMA will be in charge of the facilities and utilities as well as the overseeing of the tools and equipment which will be stored in their facilities.
