THE Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 12 moved the arraignment of former Negros Oriental 3rd District Rep. Arnolfo Teves, Jr. in connection with the murder charges filed against him by the camp of the late Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo and ten others in 2023.
The reset came after Teves, through his legal counsel Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, filed a motion on Friday to allow his client to stay in the hospital due to the pain he is still experiencing after undergoing appendectomy or appendix operation.
Judge Renato Enciso set the arraignment and pre-trial of Teves for July 14, at 8:30 a.m.
Before getting hospitalized, Teves, appeared at Branch 12 in connection with his case of illegal possession of explosives and firearms.
