Three wounded in smash-up of three jeepneys

THREE were wounded -one passenger and two pedestrians- when three passenger jeepneys got involved in a smash-up on Saturday night, at the corner of Taft Avenue and Padre Faura Street in Ermita, Manila.

Investigation by the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit-Vehicle Traffic Investigation Section (MDTEU-VTIS) showed that the accident took place at around 8:30 p.m.

Suspect Crispin Punio Dela Cruz, 30, driver of a Public Utility Jeepney (PUJ) with plate number PYZ-414, was cruising along the southward lane of Taft Avenue, Ermita , while on the westward lane of Padre Faura St. were Joel Tagnawa, 22 and Shamar Matta Delos Reyes,28.
