A three-year-old girl died after falling off from the balcony of a condominium unit located at the 16th floor of the Malate Bayview Mansion on Monday morning.
The girl was found by her mother at the balcony on the eighth floor at 10:30 a.m.
Investigation by PMSg Archie Victorino of the Manila Police District -homicide section said that the girl was last seen alive while asleep inside Unit 16 and in the company of Hoyeon Jeong, 43, a barber who lives with the victim’s mother who is with the building’s housekeeping.
Jeong reportedly left the girl while she was sleeping and went to the ground floor to work.
However, when the mother entered the unit, her child was nowhere to be found so that she decided to check on the balcony. There, she found the victim sprawled on the balcony located at the eight floor.
She rushed to the said floor and rushed the victim to the hospital where she was declared dead at 11:30 a.m. due to serious injuries she sustained in the head and body.
