The Tienda Para Sa Mga Bayani, a facility within Camp Siongco, Awang, DOS, Maguindanao was constructed in response to President Rodrigo Duterte’s declaration of the Department of Agriculture’s moral obligation to make food always available and affordable to every Filipino.
The facility was inaugurated on July 15, 2021 with Colonel Michael Santos, Chief of Staff of the 6th Infantry Division and with Minister Mohammad Yacob, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) of BARMM.

The Tienda Para Sa Mga Bayani project aimed to establish and create an alternative market outlook for farmers especially those with lesser access to commercial markets while providing increased accessibility to affordable, fresh, safe and nutritious farm products to consumers.
