REGULATIONS that will govern the ‘Undas’ operations at the Manila North Cemetery and the Manila South Cemetery have been laid out by cemetery authorities.
It was announced that the last day for cleaning or sprucing up of tombs is on October 27, 2025.
On the other hand, the MNC said that the last day when interment may be done and vehicles will be allowed inside the cemetery premises is on October 28.
It was learned that the cemeteries will be open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. from October 29 to November 2 and vendors will not be allowed at the entry points to give way to the anticipated surge of visitors, especially during the ‘Undas’ peak of from October 29 to November 2.
The MSC management said that a locator will be put in place to help visitors locate the tombs they intend to visit.
Just like before, the bringing of deadly weapons, liquor or any intoxicating beverages and items that produce noise are banned from the cemeteries.
About two million are expected to visit their loved ones during the ‘Undas’ season at the MNC, which is the biggest cemetery in the country.
