Villar still richest senator, De Lima ‘poorest’

SENATOR Cynthia Villar remains to be the richest member of the Senate while Senator Leila de Lima is the poorest senator.

This is based on the Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Networth (SALN) of the members of the Upper Chamber.

As of December 2019, VIllar had a networth or over P3.8 billion, an increase of P279.6 million from P3.5 billion declared on her SALN last June 2019.

Next to Villar is Senator Manny Pacquiao with net worth of P3.17 billion followed by Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto having a networth of P567.4 million and Senate Majority Leader Migz Zubiri with a net worth of P203.6 million

The fifth richest senator is Sen. Bong Revilla with a networth of P176.36 million; followed by Sen. Sonny Angara, P142.21 million; Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon, P102.25 million; Sen. Grace Poe, P97.63 million; Sen. Win Gatchalian, P95.40 million; Sen. Pia Cayetano, P82.77 million; Senate President Tito Sotto, P77.77 million; Sen. Richard Gordon, P71.20 million.

Sen. Lito Lapid is worth P70.94 million; Sen. Francis Tolentino, P61.17 million; Sen. Nancy Binay, P60.31 million; Sen. Ping Lacson, P48.95 million; Sen. Koko Pimentel, P36.30 million; Sen.
