A ‘wanted’ man was arrested yesterday morning right at the Manila Police District (MPD) headquarters in Ermita, Manila while trying to get a police clearance.
Jonald Rey, 39, of Tondo, Manila, is said to be ‘wanted’ for violation of City Ordinance 671 in Mandaluyong City.
He was nabbed at 11:55 a.m. inside the Crime Research and Analysis Section of the MPD headquarters on UN Avenue in Ermita.
Prior to this, the MPD reportedly received information that Rey is a ‘wanted’ man with a standing arrest warrant issued by the Mandaluyong City MTC Branch 97, so that he was arrested immediately.
Judge Dolly Rose Bolante-Prado recommended a P2,000 bail for his provisional liberty.
