A 28-year-old woman was hit by a stray bullet coming from warring gangs along Mel Lopez Blvd. on R-10, Brgy. 105, Tondo, Manila.
Police arrested two of those allegedly involved in the riot, identified as Eddie Coronel, 25 and Ace Silvester, both members of the ‘True Brown Style’ gang, following their arrest by a police team under PLtCol. John Guiagui, OIC of the Manila Police District -intelligence division.
The victim, identified as Gevelyn Yepes of Riverside, Brgy. 128, Tondo, was reportedly standing idly by in the area along with a friend when she got hit by a stray bullet in the body.
Charges of frustrated murder were filed at the Manila Prosecutor’s Office against the two suspects.
