Basilan Eagles Club adopts DS Hataman

DEPUTY Speaker of the 18th Congress Mujiv S. Hataman was adopted and now an official “kuya” of the HAPIsabela Basilan Eagles Club (HBEC).

Cedeno, Llb of The Fraternal Order of Eagles- Philippine Eagles (TFOEPE), PENAPLE Chairman Eagle Ibnohasim A. Undug, and PEIL Senior Director Eagle Cesar Y. Yamuta held at Kasinnahan Hotel and Resort, Isabela City Basilan on Friday.

A well-known sports patron himself, Rep. Hataman is also the team owner of the Basilan Steel, one of the members of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).

Rep. Hataman was invited as keynote speaker and a resolution was approved during the event and was included among the 88 applicants inducted as new members of the said club.

In his inspiring message as guest of honor of the event, he emphasized the importance of strong brotherhood, his realization was inspired by Gemma Casas , a PWD and is willing to serve.

An eagle by heart is willing to be part of the solution to the problems in the community and country as a whole and to be able to serve the best for our nation and to our countrymen,

He added. “Hindi po pa matchohan ito, hindi pagandahan, hindi pa perpektuhan ng lakas ng katawan. ang agila ay dapat patibayan ng puso para makapag serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan at sana ang buong bansa ay magiging Agila kahit may kapansanan pa para makapag serbisyo ng tama sa ating mga kababayan tungo sa isang malaya at mapayapang Bansa”, Hataman said.

HAPIsabela Basilan Eagles Club is one of the newly chartered clubs of The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles (TFOE-PE).

It is regarded as the first Philippine-Born Socio-Civic Organization, which count among its diverse membership, noting their organization included PWD, doctors, sportsmen superintendents, politicians, educators, supervisors, principals, military officers, LGUs, businessman, engineers, college presidents among other professions, who are united and driven by volunteerism and humanitarian service to the community.

The organization vows to “deliver social change, help, and serve poor communities.
