Lucena City police chief, Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea (right) and his deputy, Major Milo Tabernilla display to reporters the 10 newly issued Cal.5.56 Galil Ace 22n rifles intended for the upgrading of the Lucena Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) equipment.

The Israel-made sophisticated rifles were issued by Regional Logistics Research and Development Division on instructions of Calabarzon police director, Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao, upon the request of Albacea and Lucena City Advisory Council chaired by Mayor Roderick Alcala. Albacea thanked Quezon police director Col. Audie Madrideo for endorsing the request to Danao.
