Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian on Thursday ( August 21) joined some local chief executives and Members of Parliament of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) for a discussion on how the agency can help the region’s various localities, especially on matters about children’s education.
Held in Lanang, Davao City, the meeting between the DSWD chief and the BARMM executives was facilitated by Synergeia Foundation, a coalition of individuals, institutions, and organizations working to improve the quality of basic education. (MBM)
