Ayala Corporation Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala and senior leaders across the Ayala group lead the induction of the officers of WeAreAyala Business Club (WAABC) Central Luzon chapter. "Our WAABCs continue to look for opportunities not just to strengthen the ties of our companies with customers in the regions, but also to be platforms to contribute to the greater good by finding ways to be a meaningful help to regional communities," Zobel said.

PORAC, Pampanga — Ayala Corporation Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala led the relaunch of the WeAreAyala Business Club (WAABC) Central Luzon, a community of Ayala group employees seeking to promote the greater good of stakeholders in the region.

Present in key business centers across the country, WAABC has chapters in Baguio, Central Luzon, Naga, Cebu, Negros, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao. The chapters aim to engage local stakeholders; strengthen business units’ synergies; and promote the Ayala group culture among employees.

“Our WAABCs continue to look for opportunities not just to strengthen the ties of our companies with customers in the regions, but also to be platforms to contribute to the greater good by finding ways to be a meaningful help to regional communities. This is quite relevant today, given our ongoing momentum towards full economic recovery,” Zobel said in his welcome message.

The relaunch of the WAABC Central Luzon was packed with various activities for Ayala group employees and clients, including an Ayala group employee townhall, trade fair, and a premier client cocktail. It was held in Alviera, a 1,800-hectare mixed-use estate in Porac, Pampanga made possible by the partnership between Ayala Land and Leonio Land. Apart from residential neighborhoods, recreational centers, and a country club, the estate will also soon have a commercial district, a business and industrial park, university zones, and retail centers.

In his message to clients and stakeholders in the region, Zobel reiterated Ayala’s commitment to continue its legacy of helping promote economic growth in the communities where it operates. “Ayala is proud to be part of the historical and economic fabric of the region. For instance, I understand that there are two heritage BPI branches in Angeles, as well as the oldest bank branch in Central Luzon located in San Fernando. We are very thankful for the warmth, and the trust and support that we continue to receive from Central Luzon over many years, and we hope to be your steadfast partners as this dynamic region continues to grow and develop. We are excited to continue this relationship with all of you,” he added.
