A comfortable space for breastfeeding mothers and a fun haven for children before flights to various destinations.

This, according to Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) spokesman Eric Apolonio, is what the Bohol-Panglao International Airport now offers to elevate passenger experience.

CAAP Area 7 Manager Atty. Rafael Tatlonghari led the unveiling of the the latest addition which includes a breastfeeding station and kid’s play area at the terminal’s pre-departure area.

Tatlonghari also mentioned that airport staff can be approached for the utilization of the area.

Apolonio said the project was an initiative by the BPIA’s Gender and Development (GAD) Committee to provide efficient and comfortable travel experiences for air travelers.

He added that the BPIA is committed to improving its services.

In 2018, it was recognized as the first eco-friendly airport in the country, showcasing green and sustainable structures, such as solar panels.
