Bad talk irks Rita Daniela: ‘Di po totoo ’yan’

Rita Daniela

RITA Daniela considers the past year as one of the most successful years in her showbiz career. Her surprise hit afternoon show with Ken Chan, “My Special Tatay”, ended in March 2019 and soon after that, their love team was given its own show on GMA Telebabad primetime, “One of the Baes”, which is a hit so it’s now extended up to February.

Not only that, she and Ken were given the chance to co-host the successful reality show, “The Clash Season 2”. It has just ended and now, they’re given a new show in 2020. They’re so happy to be part of GMA’s new weekend noontime show, “All Out Sunday”, where they are given the chance to sing and dance in fabulous production numbers. It will start airing this Sunday, January 5.

“I really feel so blessed dahil kasisimula pa lang ng taon pero heto’t we’re given another new show,” says Rita. “I really love to sing and perform live, so it’s nice to be working with other Kapuso stars who will be mainstays in this musical variety show.”

But how come there are rumors that she has become a swellhead and has become difficult to work with as she has become quite demanding? “I really don’t know kunsaan nanggagaling ang ganyang stories but hindi po ‘yan totoo,” she says. “You can ask anyone sa shows na nakatrabaho ko, lalo na sa ‘One of the Baes’, and I think I get along fine with all of them. Kung totoong nag-iinarte ako, bakit hayan at na-extend pa ang show namin at nabigyan pa ako ng bagong show. Never lalaki ang ulo ko kasi ang tagal kong naghintay at pinaghirapan bago ako nabigyan ng good breaks that I’m enjoying now. Alangan namang sayangin ko pa ito. Kung sinuman ‘yung naninira sa’kin, sana tigilan na nila dahil 2020 na. Peace and harmony na lang po tayo.”
