This was confirmed by the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait saying the Filipina household service worker had a close contact with a person who traveled to the United Kingdom. "The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait regrets to inform the Filipino community that a female domestic worker is the first confirmed Filipino case of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 in Kuwait," the Embassy said in a statement dated March 19. 

BI temporarily suspends transactions in Luzon
