PDIC maintains 2 offices, enhances client access

State deposit insurer Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) announced that correspondences to its offices may now be sent to any of its two office locations in Makati City, in effect enhancing client access to its services.

Client correspondences may now be mailed or sent via courier service to its PDIC Chino Bldg. Office located at 2228 Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City 1231; or to its PDIC Ayala Office located at the SSS Bldg., 6782 Ayala Avenue corner V.A. Rufino St., Makati City 1226.

The PDIC further announced that clients may be serviced through personal visits at its Public Assistance Center (PAC) located at the 3rd Floor of SSS Building in Ayala Avenue. In keeping with health protocols, personal visits to the PAC via appointment is highly encouraged. Clients may request for appointment through phone, email or Facebook private message. When transacting at the PAC, clients are requested to observe health protocols, and present their vaccination cards.

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) was established on June 22, 1963, by Republic Act 3591 to provide depositor protection and help maintain stability in the financial system by providing deposit insurance. Effective June 1, 2009, the maximum deposit insurance coverage is P500,000 per depositor. All deposit accounts by a depositor in a closed bank maintained in the same right and capacity shall be added together. A joint account shall be insured separately from any individually-owned deposit account.
