SUNSHINE Dizon is happy to inform the fans of their toprating drama, “Magkaagaw”, that the show is now finally returning on the air this coming Monday afternoon at 2:30 after “Eat Bulaga”.

“Yes, sa lahat ng nagme-message sa akin kung kailan kami nila ulit mapapanood, heto po, babalik na po kami,” she says. “Magsisimula sa recap ng past episodes bilang pagbabalik-tanaw sa nakaraan, then we will start with the continuation of the story with the fresh new episodes we made sa aming lock-in taping.”

It will be recalled that Sunshine plays Laura who figured in a deadly love triangle with Alfred Vargas, her husband, and Sheryl Cruz as Veron. Alfred chose to marry Sunshine so Sheryl is hell bent on taking revenge on her. Sunshine’s daughter, Klea Pineda as Clarrisse, marries Jeric Gonzales as Jio, who later gets to work for Sheryl’s company. Sheryl then seduces him and they get into a hot illicit affair.

The series was peaking in its intensity last March when the pandemic came and the lockdown stopped the airing of the show. The sudden termination was with a cliffhanger. Sunshine and her daughter Klea’s lives are put in danger because of Sheryl’s evil schemes to cover up her and Jio’s infidelity.

“So ngayon, sa pagpapatuloy ng show sa GMA Afternoon Prime, makikita ninyo kung nagtagumpay ba si Sheryl sa masamang balak niya sa amin ni Klea. Abangan nyo dahil maraming pasabog na eksena at matitinding confrontation scenes na magaganap,” adds Sunshine, who’s busy as an actress but has also now branched out into working behind the camera.

She’s one of the producers of Sanggre Productions that produced the action-fantasy movie for iFlix, “Mystified”. Now, their company is producing a new series, “The Battle of Brody and Brandy”. This is a romantic-comedy starring Iza Calzado and Ian Veneracion.

Aside from being one of the show’s executive producers, Sunshine is also the associate director of Mark Reyes. Looks like she wants to follow in the footsteps of award-winning actresses-turned-directors Laurice Guillen and Gina Alajar.
