The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Tuesday (January 23) welcomed the result of the Ulat ng Bayan survey indicating that 62 percent of the 1,200 respondents were satisfied with the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

The survey, which was conducted from Dec. 3 to 7, 2023 by Pulse Asia Research Inc. also noted the highest satisfaction rating of 69 percent among respondents from Mindanao, followed by 60 percent among respondents from the National Capital Region (NCR), and 60 percent from Balance Luzon.

“We are grateful for the continuing trust of our kababayans to the 4Ps as the national flagship anti-poverty program of the government,” DSWD Asst. Secretary for Strategic Communications Romel Lopez, who is also agency spokesperson said.

The DSWD official said one of the notable accomplishments of 4Ps last year was the exit of 674,452 household-beneficiaries.

“We vow to continue to reach such feat this year through our continuous delivery of quality and efficient service to the Filipino people,” Asst. Secretary Lopez pointed out.

With around 4.4 million household-beneficiaries, the 4Ps program provides conditional financial assistance to the most economically challenged families, fostering improvements in health, nutrition, and education.
