NAMFREL: Media Advisory

Please be advised that the National Citizens’ Movement for Free Elections (NAMFREL) will have an operations center for the 2022 national and local elections. This will be located in the following address: 12th Floor, DMG Center, Domingo M. Guevara St., Mandaluyong City. The NAMFREL Bantay ng Bayan Operations Center will open on May 8, 2022, and will operate 24 hours a day. It will remain open as long as polling place results are still being transmitted.

For members of the press and other organizations who wish to send representatives or observers, may we request if you could send the names of your representatives in advance so that we could inform security. You may send the names through [email protected].

On May 9, 2022, Election Day, NAMFREL will hold a Press Briefing at 12 noon at the operations center. NAMFREL may hold additional press briefings throughout the rest of the day if necessary, and will also do so periodically after May 9.

May we also invite the media to help spread awareness about, and encourage the public to use, the NAMFREL app:
Android (Google Play Store): https://bit.ly/NAMFRELApp
iPhone (App Store): https://apple.co/3MEKB40

The general public, non-partisan or not, are encouraged to download the NAMFREL app to help ensure that the coming elections are transparent and accurate. The app will be used to determine the mobile signal strength in voting centers. It can also be used to take pictures of the election returns (ER).
