The country’s flag carrier, Philippine AirLines (PAL), ends the year with the unveiling of a holiday offer for members of the Armed Force of the Philippines (AFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).
PAL spokesperson Ma. Cielo ‘Diva’ Villaluna said that as a special treat this holiday season for the men and women of the AFP, PNP and PCG, PAL is providing a 20 percent discount on select fare brands. The discount privilege will be applied on the base fare of Economy Saver and Supersaver Fare brands of PAL domestic flights.
Cielo said the AFP, PNP and PCG personnel have until December 31, 2020 to buy their domestic tickets and avail of the 20% discount. Travel period is until June 30, 2021 and flights may be booked through Philippine-based PAL ticket offices, PAL partner travel agents or Reservations hotline (02) 8855 8888.
To avail of the discount, a traveler must present his/her AFP/PNP/PCG identification. This special offer applies to active AFP, PNP, and PCG Filipino personnel. Alongside this, PAL also offers FREE Wi-Fi to all passengers flying on select international flights this season.
Starting December 24, 2020 to January 1, 2021, PAL ‘s myPAL Wi-Fi’s Holiday Promo offers all passengers complimentary 100MB on international flights to and from Canada and select United States and Asia flights. This will be available on PAL’s modern aircraft such as the Boeing 777, Airbus A350 and A321neo. Passengers will only need to log-in the Wi-Fi portal to avail of the promo.
PAL’s myPAL Holiday Promo is on top of the built-in complimentary 100MB for Business Class passengers and 3MB chat plans for Economy Class passengers for use on various messaging apps such as Facebook Messenger, Viber, Line and others.
During the duration of the promo, renewable plans are continuously offered on board at the following rates: USD 5 for the Renewal Chat Plan and USD 40 for the Wi-Fi Plan – Unlimited.
