A DAUGHTER found her mother lifeless and bathing in her own blood inside the victim’s bedroom Monday afternoon in Lipa City, Batangas.
Lipa City police chief, Lt/Col Antonio G. Rotol, Jr. identified the fatality as Iluminada Lumbera Leynes.
The victim suffered lacerations and stab wounds. She was found dead by her daughter inside her bedroom in her house located in Purok 3, Bgy. Tangway, Lipa City.
Rotol added the victim was found dead by her daughter identified as Lizel Lumbera Leynes.
The young Leynes told police that she discovered her lifeless mother at around 5 p.m.
She said she quickly sought help from neighbors and rushed her mother to the Mary Mediatrix Medical Center where the victim was declared dead on arrival by Dr. John Dumpit, the attending physician.
