Roque ready for all senatorial debates

Harry Roque

UniTeam senatorial candidate Harry Roque is ready to face all senatorial debates and answer significant issues that beset the country and the lives of Filipinos.

Roque, a human rights lawyer, said that he wanted to debate with lawyer Chel Diokno, Sen. Risa Hontiveros, and activist Teddy Baguilat.

“I’d like to expose them for who they are,” Roque said in an interview with The Philippine Catalog.

Roque said he would ask Hontiveros about the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).

Bakit nagsimula ‘yan noong miyembro ng Board of Trustees ‘yung sinabi mong kandidata,” he said.

Roque said he studied the implications of replacing Philhealth with a National Health Service that would guarantee “zero billing” in hospitals, free health services, medicines, and medical tests for those seeking treatment.

Ano ba ang napatunayan mo?” he said.

Roque, a former presidential spokesperson, is ALSO a human rights advocate.

The former congressman represented the family of slain transgender Filipino woman Jennifer Laude in 2014 and the victims of the Maguindanao Massacre in 2009.
