THE Manila Police District-Special Mayor’s Reaction Team (MPD-SMaRT) arrested a man tagged as the “Top 2 Most Wanted Person” in Cebu.
SMaRT chief P/Lt Col. Rosalino Ibay, Jr. said the suspect, identified as Romeo Toloso, had been wanted in Cebu for three counts of sexual assault.
Toloso was nabbed in an operation conducted yesterday morning on Tikling Road, Taytay, Rizal. He is now in the custody of SMaRT.
Ibay said the arrest was pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by Judge Annabelle Romana – Robles of the Cebu Regional Trial Court Branch 96.
The suspect, who was seen in the area where he got arrested at around 7 a.m., will be turne over to PRO-7 which, in turn, will bring him to court.
