Vendor jailed for indiscriminate firing

A VENDOR landed in jail for indiscriminately firing a gun early yesterday morning in Tondo, Manila.

Now facing charges for violation of Article 155 of the Revised Penal Code (Alarm and Scandal) and R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearm and Ammunition Regulation Act) is suspect Lezer Pascual, of 2015 Almeda St., Tondo.

The Manila Police District-Station 7 reported that the incident occurred at 2:30 a.m. at the corner of F.Yuseco and Almeda Streets in Tondo.

It was learned that a call from Patrol 911 was received by the MPD-Station 7 regarding a man firing his gun in the air in the said area.

A review was made by the police on the CCTV of the barangay and after verification, the suspect was identified as Pascual.

When the police went to the area, Pascual was still there. He was frisked and a .45 cal. gun was confiscated from him.
