For Inclusivity, Peace, Charity

The We Are One (WAO) Youth Volunteers extends an invitation to everyone to participate in a fun run scheduled to take place at The City of Imus Grandstand and Track Oval on October 29, 2023 from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Themed “Earth Run 2023: Peace Heritage,” the fun run aims to contribute to the global Earth Run Movement which aims to run a total of 40,120 kilometers, the distance equivalent to the circumference of the Earth, create a peaceful and inclusive environment for everyone, and raise funds for the group’s various activities and its chosen beneficiary.

The assembly time is set for 5:00 AM starting with a warm-up and Zumba exercises. It will be followed with the 5K run starting at precisely 6:00 AM, followed by the 3K run at 6:30 AM, and the 1K run at 7:00 AM.

Registration fee is PHP200 for students and PHP300 for non-students which shall be accepted through WAO’s finance officer Flori Orbita via GCash 09263550635.

Participants may pre-register to receive a unique QR code: https://forms.gle/WYaTEz2nJ6sBQdHh6

Each participant will be given an Earth Run 2023 Shirt, Race Bib and E-Certificate while the Top 3 finishers will receive top finisher medals, top finisher shirts and winner certificates.

There will be a program with a dance performance from Indayaw Dance Company and while the fun run is going on, there will be games on the sides with prizes.

There will also be a ‘peace wall’ where runners could post their race bibs with a peace message after their run.
