2 stab-ridden bodies float in Isla Puting Bato

THE Manila Police District (MPD) is looking into the angle of a possible gang war in connection with the death of two young men whose bodies were found floating in Isla Puting Bato recently.

PCapt. Henry Navarro, chief of the MPD-homicide section, said the two, both aged 15 and whose names are being withheld on account of being minors, are verified to be members of the “Batang City Jail” gang and residing in the said area.

It was learned that their bodies were discovered by their relatives and when fished out, stabwounds were found on their bodies and even faces.

The two were last seen alive last January 31. They were said to have been taken but their bodies were found in separate places and time.

Police said the victims were mere acquaintances and the manner of their death are similar.

An investigation is underway to establish the motive for the killing and the suspects behind. #
