CAMP Gen. Miguel Malvar, Batangas — Two murder suspects were nabbed during the implementation of arrest warrants in separate police operations in Batangas City and Nasugbu town here, the other day.
Police Lt. Col. Gerry M. Laylo, Batangas City police station commander, in his report to Batangas police director Col. Rex Arvin T. Malimban, identified the suspect as Norwel Cabatay alias Noriel Cabatay.
Batangas City police headed by Laylo and the Provincial Intelligence Unit -Oriental Mindoro Provincial Police Office (PIU-OMPPO) conducted a joint police operation at around 5:15 p.m. against Cabatay, No. 1 most wanted person in the city and in Bgy. San Jose Sico, for murder and attempted murder.
In Nasugbu town, the police station head cop Major Jun A. Bautista said they nabbed Chris Anthony Dime Manibay during the serving of a warrant of arrest for murder in Bgy. Aga, this town at 6 p.m.
Manibay is the No. 1 most wanted person in the municipal level, Bautista said.
At around 6:10 p.m. on the same day, the Nasugbu MPS together with Tuy MPS armed with the strength of a warrant of arrest captured another frustrated murder suspect identified as Gerardo Barrios alias Gerry Salag in Bgy. Luntal, Taal.
The suspect is listed as No.2 most wanted person in Taal.
