DSWD recognized by CSC for highest resolution rate of complaints

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) was recognized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for having the highest resolution rate of referred complaints from January to June 2022 through the Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB).

The CCB is responsible for ensuring that the different government agencies are compliant to Republic Act No. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 in responding to public concerns. The CCB, under the CSC, monitors the status of resolutions done by agencies.

According to the CCB report, the DSWD achieved 93.33% resolution rate given the 15 complaints referred by the CSC to the Department for the first semester of the year.

The DSWD expressed its gratitude to the CSC saying that the recognition will boost the Department’s efforts to provide the public with feedback and appropriate responses to their complaints and/or inquiries in a timely manner.

Moreover, the DSWD reiterated its commitment to providing genuine public service as it pursues excellence in program and project implementation, including adherence to the Anti Red Tape Act (ARTA).
