Roque shows ‘jolly’ side by dancing on campaign trail

UniTeam senatorial candidate Harry Roque says he shows his ‘jolly’ side by dancing on the campaign trail.

Roque explained why he sometimes resorts to dancing when entertaining supporters tired of listening to long speeches during campaign rallies.

Roque is human rights lawyer, an expert on international law, a former congressman, and a former presidential spokesperson.

Roque was an associate professor for 15 years at the College of Law of the University of the Philippines (UP), teaching public international and constitutional law. He also served as Director of the Institute of International Legal Studies at the UP Law Center.

He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science. He finished his Bachelor of Law at the UP.

He said many people know his credentials and believed that his dancing during campaign sorties would not change anything he has achieved in life.
