2 brothers in Tarlac road rage yield gun

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Two brothers were arrested after poking an unlicensed gun at a motorist during a road rage incident along a highway in Sta. Ignacia, Tarlac over the weekend.

Brig. Gen. Valeriano De Leon said suspects Ariel Clinton Palaganas and Mark Joshua Palaganas, were riding a Honda 155 with sidecar when they had an altercation with a driver on board an Isuzu Elf truck.

Corporal Mark Jayson Gampon was on his way home from his assignment in this camp when he chanced upon the road rage incident wherein one of the suspects was poking a gun at the truck driver.

The cop immediately sought back-up from the Sta. Ignacia police and arrested the suspects who yielded a cal. .22 revolver without serial number and loaded with two live ammo.

Appropriate charges for grave threat and illegal possession of firearms have bee filed against the duo.

Meanwhile, one of Zambales’ most wanted persons was arrested by authorities on Valentine’s Day after hiding in Negros Occidental for almost three years.

De Leon said San Narciso Police received intelligence reports that suspect Angel Obispo II was hiding in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.

San Narciso police immediately coordinated with La Carlota City police and, armed with court-issued warrant of arrest, proceeded to Bliss St., La Carlota City, which led to the arrest of Obispo, 36, carpenter, for the crime of rape with no bail recommended.

He was charged for sexually molesting a minor repeatedly in San Narciso, Zambales sometime in April 2016 and immediately went into hiding until his captivity.
