HVT falls in QC drug bust

AUTHORITIES arrested a high value target (HVT) and confiscated 11.3 kilos of marijuana during a buy-bust in Quezon City on Tuesday.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, Police Brigadier General Ronnie S. Montejo identified the arrestes suspect as Jomari Basilio, 23, promodizer, and resident of Bgy. San Antonio Del Monte.

The District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) conducted the buy-bust at about 6:50 p.m. on October 20, 2020 at the suspect’s residence on 181 Fernandez St., Bgy. San Antonio Del Monte.

The suspect was nabbed after a police poseur buyer bought from him P100,000 worth of marijuana.

Confiscated were 11.3 kilograms marijuana with an estimated DDB value of P1,356,000, a cellular phone, digital weighing scale, and the buy-bust money.

A case of violation of RA 9165 also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect.
